Soggy Feet and Battle Wounds
Last night our ward had an 80’s themed skating night. Heck yes! I think I had more fun getting ready for it than the actual skating. They evened each other out pretty well though; I mean, who doesn't love falling on their butt every few seconds? Haha but really, I had a blast- I have the best friends a girl could ask for! And aside from the few pros who whipped us all, everybody took part in the butt bruising, and their fair share of battle wounds. I have a massive bruise on my knee, and several blisters, and nasty injuries seems to be the theme of facebook status's from the people who went.
So, sad story of the day- because I'm an inherently lazy person, last night I decided to throw my wallet in my roommates purse instead of bringing mine. When we got back I was so bruised and exhausted it completely slipped my mine that I needed it today (well 'need' is relative... I could technically go without food, and walk to school... but it takes 30 minutes to walk to campus from where I live, and it's been wet and gross outside lately. And icy, which means potentially dangerous for balance-impaired people such as myself). Anyway, I didn't remember til 5 minutes before the bus came, and 25 minutes before my class started. Never fear though- I made it to class with 2 minutes to spare! Now the only bummer is my soggy feet...
